What are literacy Work Stations?
Literacy Work Stations encourage students to work with a partner to practice literacy skills in an engaging way. Literacy Stations are ongoing throughout the year. I will start with just a few stations over the coming weeks with the expectation that eventually we will have 15 literacy work stations. These stations will be rotated throughout the year! This is a work in progress, so with that in mind, I will be getting feedback from my students and we will go from there.
Students are expected to communicate with their partner to complete the literacy tasks. Answer keys are provided at many stations for self-checking of the practice items.
